"America's Founding" "'God bless America,' 'from sea to shining sea,'" by our Savior's stripes, we are healed, under the Stars and Stripes, we are free. Pioneers went before us, braving the vast unknown—some planted, some bled out on the field— and yet covered by the Blood, remained steadfast. "One nation under God," a Republic manifest— if we can keep it. Our Founding Fathers' destiny, asking what we can do for our country, blessed in the pursuit of happiness, life, and liberty. Where the eagle, in fierce majesty, flies brave, and our heroes sacrificed their lives to save, the "'Land that I love,' 'God shed His grace on thee,'" in unity, it was for freedom that Christ set us free.

Encouragement
This sonnet is written in honor of our nation, founded on Christian values, and serves as a tribute to the great men and women who sacrificed for our freedom.
The ending of the poem also serves as a prayer for our nation, for the next 250 years and beyond.
“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:13–14 (NIV)
Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the Lord Almighty has spoken.Micah 4:4 (NIV)
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
Ephesians 4:3 (NIV)
